On a quiet summer morning, Ao Hoshizaki, an ordinary high school girl, is en route to remedial classes when she receives a cryptic message on her phone: “Be Reborn.” In a flash of light, she is transported to a surreal world known as the Oasis—a lone school building suspended in an endless ocean under a boundless blue sky.

There, Ao encounters three girls: Kokoro Utsubo, kind-hearted and gentle; Rena Miyauchi, stern and composed like a class president; and Yuki Kinjou, cheerful and mischievous. The trio have been living in this school for an unknown length of time, each remembering only their names and fragments of emotion. Unlike them, Ao retains most of her memories and quickly bonds with the group. The girls explain that the world beyond the school is a vast, inescapable sea—an “Endless Blue” where time feels frozen and direction is meaningless.
